Church Of England Flower Arrangers' Association

Welcome to the London branch of CEFAA!

London Flowers

We are a growing group of enthusiastic flower arrangers of all ages, abilities and of both sexes. We meet on the third Saturday of the month (except for August and December). Each month we go to a different church within the London branch area and the CEFAA member of the church visited gives a demonstration after a short business meeting. Each March we have our AGM where the committee is re-elected after which there is a demonstration usually slightly different to the general monthly ones. This could be in the form of a talk, video, slideshow or advanced flower arranging techniques. An elected committee of nine meets twice yearly to discuss the programme for the meetings. Usually, an outing is arranged in one half of the year and a non-CEFAA specialist demonstrator comes to show us their skills in the other half. We like to arrange for a workshop to be added to the programme and this is both fun and a learning curve for everyone.

Carole Harvey, Chairman

Some of our group go to St Paul’s Cathedral and provide flowers for the St Dunstan’s Chapel. This is on a rota basis with other groups. We have also assembled the advent wreath for many years. Recently we have become more involved with providing flowers for the special services for St Paul’s Cathedral and were very honoured to be asked to provide flowers for the Queen’s 90th Thanksgiving service (shown above). It is a lovely atmosphere, visitors come to watch or ask questions and then we all go to have refreshments in the café before coming home. We are a friendly group, of over sixty members if we all turn up! We all help one another and give advice. Our meetings start at 10am with refreshments and the business starts at 10.30am. The meetings usually end by midday, so why don’t you come and join us? You will be made very welcome. Contact me, Carole Harvey, London branch Chairman, ( for further information.
